King Killian 2D final Character

This is the final version of what Killian will look like. All 2d, illustrated in Photoshop, and animated in After Effects

"Rainbow Hills" Modeled Set

The intro of this film will be a live action set, and a camera will fly through the set and into a 3d tracked castle (which is where we find King Killian)

So for about 2 and a half months I stayed Isolated in my garage building a giant set with live action waves and such. And then I built an upside down dolly system that flies the camera through the scene.

We then shot the 10 second scene using the dolly I made, but the footage was awful. SO! we shot it again but did it with a steady tracker. .... That footage was also very bad. Eventually we got a hold of a Crane dolly and that footage worked out pretty well. So what we are working on right now is tracking in the 3d footage of the castle and we are composting the footage this week! Very exciting :)
